How much does Iris cost?
Iris is completely free. You just bring your own API keys from OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. No subscriptions, no per-message fees, no hidden costs.
Which AI models are supported?
Iris supports any model from OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, OpenRouter, Grok, and ElevenLabs. You just bring your own API keys and you're good to go.
Is my data really private?
Yes. Your data never leaves your machine. We don't have servers that store your screenshots or conversation history. It's between you and your AI provider.
What's the system impact?
Built with Rust and Tauri, Iris is designed to be lightweight. It won't eat your RAM like a typical Electron app would.
How do I summon Iris?
Just use the global hotkey (Alt + Space by default) to summon Iris instantly. It'll analyze your screen and be ready for your question.
Can I use it offline?
Iris needs an internet connection to communicate with AI providers. However, the app itself runs locally and all processing happens on your machine.
